I have been writing for as long as I can remember. In fact, I wrote my first story when I was just four years old using rubber stamps as a substitute for words like ‘cat’ and ‘dog.’ My mum still has the story in a special box with other precious childhood memories.

I have always enjoyed writing stories and poems and have recently discovered I like writing articles about things I see, hear or read.

As a child I won a number of poetry competitions and had some of my works (both stories and poems) published in magazines and anthologies. Since discovering the wonderful world of blogging I’ve also been added as a guest author on Existential Travel Zazz, a blog/website run by my friend and fellow anthropologist and writer, Sarah Kate Larsen. Over the years I’ve had a few blogs, but this one is exactly what I want and having its own domain name means it’s here to stay!

I hope you enjoy reading what I write and check back often for new pieces that I’ve been working on.
