I am definitely what you call an amateur photography, knowing little about different types of cameras, lenses etc., but I do think anyone can be a photographer. I particularly like the quote: “It’s not what you own, but how you use what you have,” from the wonderful book, Any Camera Anywhere The New Street Photographer’s Manifesto.

Years ago I bought myself my first digital camera, but now I only use my iPhone and believe that some of the best photos I’ve ever taken are from it. I like the fact that it is small, portable and inconspicuous. This comes in handy, especially since my main interest is street photography and street art.

I often use photos to enhance my writing and have completed a number of artworks using photography too.

I hope you enjoy looking through my photos and seeing how I view the world through my camera lens.
