Sometimes I wanted to be alone and I liked it, but on the weekends I always wanted to be with someone to do something fun.
It didn’t have to be groundbreaking.
It could simply be hanging out in my apartment; talking, laughing.
I didn’t need to be entertained. The company was enough.
Sometimes being constantly in my own company drove me up the wall. I wanted a sounding board for my thoughts. I wanted another human being to be around.
It didn’t need to be a partner either, a friend was fine. I wasn’t looking for love.
Today I just wanted someone to laugh with.
