327. The Unsent Letter:
I had posted this yesterday but apparently there were some issues. Sorry!
She called it ‘The Unsent Letter.’
She had written it what seemed to be years ago, but was actually less than a week. She just could not bring herself to actually send it.
She knew well the power of words.
As an author and witch she knew that what was once said could never be unsaid. Words were powerful. Words were spoken magick.
Although her words were true and from the heart, the ramifications of actually having them read by the one the letter was intended for were almost unthinkable. It would unleash something that she wasn’t quite sure she was ready to face just yet.
But she knew she needed to prepare for it because despite being scared she knew it needed to be faced.
She would never be truly content until she sent the letter.
She sighed and twirled a strand of her curly hair around her right index finger.
Tapping the letter on the table, she stood up and walked to the door.
She couldn’t wait and wonder forever.
Today was the day.
The day she sent the letter.
