The taste I’m most grateful for is easy.
Straight off the top of my head was anpan (あんパン), which is a type of Japanese bread filled with sweet red bean paste. Oh dear Lord.
Saying that though, beans in Western countries are traditionally thought of as savory, so I guess it’s a fine line or interesting combination of making something usual appear slightly different to the palate.
I’m also a huge fan of dark chocolate, which although sweet, can also be quite bitter.
Today, I am most grateful for being given the ability to taste the sweet things in life. 🙂 Thank you.
